You Show Up For Everyone Else.

Now, It's Time To Show Up For Yourself.

You're known as the person that always puts everyone else first, no matter what. Maybe that means pushing through your own stress and anxiety to help your family, or relentlessly working late hours to meet deadlines at the office. Whatever it looks like, you have a hard time making time for yourself.

Perhaps, you're so busy with work and family obligations that you're simply not finding the time to take care of your own emotional and mental health. Or, the thought of driving in LA traffic to go to in-person therapy makes you avoid addressing your issues altogether. You just know it's time to make time for yourself, and online therapy in California might be the perfect solution.

What are the Benefits of Online Therapy?

I have had clients say, "Therapy used to take 3 hours, now it takes 1 hour." Including no travel time, there are many benefits to online therapy in California. From the convenience and privacy of your own home or office to being able to wear your pajamas and drink your coffee, you can feel comfortable during each session.

Other benefits of online therapy include:

  • Clear boundaries: There are no distractions in online therapy, so you and your therapist can focus on the issues at hand without being interrupted by other things.

  • Convenience: Whether you're busy with work, or family obligations, or simply find it difficult to leave your home, online therapy provides a convenient and accessible option for improving your mental health.

  • Community-mindedness: As an Orthodox Jew, you may find it difficult to relate to therapists who are not familiar with your community. With online therapy, you can work with a therapist who truly understands you and your needs.

  • Freedom: With online therapy, you’ll have time to go to Whole Foods or Starbucks, or work from home instead of having to drive for hours just to see a therapist.

With online therapy, you can easily talk to your therapist from wherever you are, whether that's at work or in the comfort of your own home.

As long as it is in a place that is private and secure, you can talk about whatever is on your mind without worrying about running into someone you know in the therapy office. As therapy is unique to each individual, it's important to know that therapy and its benefits can be unique to you.

I am Here to Support You in Making Time for Yourself

I understand that you want a therapist that truly gets it. Gets you.

A Therapist who gets your needs and challenges. One that can support you in the best way possible. I may not have experienced everything you've been through, but with my training and experience, I am here to support you in improving your mental health and overall well-being. I have dedicated my life to working with women struggling with various issues, including trauma, grief, loss, and the struggles that come with parent-child dynamics. I know how important it is to have someone you can turn to when times get tough, and I'm here for you every step of the way.

You Deserve to Engage in Self-Care

I have worked with many women who are caregivers with loved ones battling cancer, or women who are just looking to optimize their own self-care. Or women who are Orthodox Jews trying to find someone who understands her community and understands her religion. They thought they didn't have time for therapy, but with online therapy, that's no longer the case. They are able to schedule therapy when it's convenient for them, without having to worry about travel time or packed schedules.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about therapy for cancer patients and their caregivers.

  • Yes! Research has shown online therapy to be as effective as in-person therapy. It ultimately comes down to choice. I offer a 20 minute free consultation to see if you’re comfortable online, and to see if we feel like a good fit for working together. The most important factor in therapy being effective is a good relationship with your therapist, whether in-person or online. So when searching for a therapist, make sure it’s someone you feel comfortable with.

  • The privacy and security of my client’s information is extremely important to me. I use a HIPAA secure platform called Doxy.me, and send forms with PHI (protected health information) through Docusign, another secure site.

It is important that you also have privacy and are in a secure location during our sessions, so I don’t conduct any sessions or consultations while people are driving.

  • Yes! I have successfully used EMDR online for several years. We can either use the traditional eye movements following my fingers, or I can teach you how to tap bilaterally for you to do it on yourself during sessions.
